Undertake is a Chinese AU created and hosted by WCY. It's where Frisk was joined by her step sister Hilda as they venture throughout the Underground. This AU isn't Code based as it lack the Save Load Reset feature the most AU possessed.

The AU started in 2020/1/27, and is currently still updating on Bilibili and bcy.net. It is currently planning to start updating on Tumblr or Twitter. The english version of the story also exists in Archive of Our Own.

Characters

Undertale Characters

Frisk

a 14 years old girl who got pushed down the entrance of the Underground. Her family got slaughtered in the human war and Frisk is currently living with the Jones. Her left arm is a artificial limb because her arm was sliced off in the war. Frisk wears a blue-purple stripe sweatshirt, light blue cloak and brown shorts. Her necklace is from her mother. Frisk's soul trait is DETERMINATION .

Frisk does not yet have nor know the power of determination. She cannot RESET or SAVE . If she die then she die. However the story is a timeline where she luckily survived everything.

Added Characters

Victoria

a human that lived during the human and monster war. She was good friends with Gerson but they were separated when her family moved away to avoid the war.

Hilda

one year older than Frisk yet still in the same age group. Hilda is the step sister of Frisk because her family adopted Frisk during the war. She does not have the best childhood and is most always under pressure. Feelings are complicated for Frisk (jealous, hate but sorry). She is the one that pushed Frisk down the entrance. Unfortunately for Hilda, she fell down herself later. Hilda's soul trait is JEALOUSY.

Meraki

about the same age as Frisk. She also lost her parents due to a murder car accident. Meraki arrived as a transfer student at frisk's school and quickly became frisk's only friend. Later one, however, she and Frisk broke into a fight and haven't talked for a long time. She is the only human later in the story that got ahold of the magic comming from her soul. Meraki's soul trait is PERSEVERANCE .

Miscellaneous

• The humans also had a war after the monster and human war. The disagreements between the two groups of humans led to a war in which Frisk's family was killed.
• Toriel and Asgore did not divorce.
• The other 6 child did not fell into the underground.
• Most monsters are fond of humans. Only small percents of them disliked humans at the start of the story (Undyne etc.).
• Some humans do not possess a strong soul trait, most of them just have a light colored soul similar to monsters.
• Three main endings: Pacifist, Genocide and Deterioration.
